Your CPD record, ready
the day someone asks to see it.

Log your hours as you go. CPDfolio checks them against your scheme's categories, not just the total. Every certificate stays attached. When Engineers Australia or your licensee asks, the pack is already built.

You can be past 150 hours and still fail.

Almost nobody fails on the total. They fail on one category they weren’t counting.

Engineers Australia

Three categories, checked separately

150 hours over three years is the headline. Inside it sit 10 hours of risk management, 15 hours of business and management, and 50 hours in each area of practice you claim. Miss one and the total doesn’t save you. CPDfolio tracks each on its own, so a gap shows up while you still have time to close it.

Financial advisers

Four categories and a 70% rule

40 hours a CPD year, including at least 9 hours of professionalism and ethics. At least 70% has to be activity your licensee approved. CPDfolio shows your approved share against that 70% line as you log.

Both schemes

What you planned, next to what you did

Set your goals for the cycle at the start. As you log activities, the hours land against the goals you set. When someone asks what you planned and what you did, that’s one page, already written.

Your record stays with you when you move.

When you leave a licensee, they give you a copy of your CPD records for the years you were with them. Change licensee twice and your history sits in three places. CPDfolio is your own copy, from your first logged hour to your last. It doesn’t reset when you move.

Leave a firm, keep everything
Your full record goes with you. The firm keeps a dated snapshot covering only the time you were there.
Stop paying, keep everything
A lapsed account goes read-only. Nothing is deleted, and you can still export your audit pack.
Two schemes, one activity
Registered under more than one scheme? One activity counts toward every scheme it’s eligible for, instead of being typed twice.

They ask for your record. You send this.

One PDF, laid out in the order they read it, with every certificate linked.

Who you are and which cycle
Your scheme, registration number, and the exact cycle dates the pack covers
What you planned, and what you did
Your goals for the cycle with the hours actually logged against each one
Every activity, dated
The full log, with hours, in date order
Category totals against your scheme’s rules
Your hours grouped the way your scheme groups them, so the assessor doesn’t have to
Your certificates, attached
A time-limited link to every stored file, so nothing has to be emailed separately
Peer consultation, tracked separately
Where your scheme requires it, counted on its own rather than folded into the total

Pick your scheme and everything uses its rules.

Choose your scheme at setup. The dashboard, your plan and the audit pack then use its cycle and categories.

EA

Engineers Australia

150 h · 3 yrs

10 hours risk management. 15 hours business and management. 50 hours in each area of practice. Work across two areas and some hours count toward both. CPDfolio does that maths.

AFSL

Financial advisers

40 h · per year

9 hours of professionalism and ethics, plus technical competence, client care, and regulatory compliance. At least 70% licensee-approved. Tax (financial) advice hours tracked separately when you need them.

LAW

Solicitors

10 units · per year

At least 1 unit each in ethics, practice management and professional skills. Most states add substantive law, and SA, Tasmania and the NT add more. Pick your state and CPDfolio uses its year and its caps on articles and committee work.

AGENT

Real estate agents

set by your state

NSW counts hours for your area of practice. Queensland counts sessions, and WA and the ACT count points. Victoria starts in April 2027. CPDfolio uses your state's unit and dates, so a Queensland year starts on your licence anniversary.

Questions people ask first

I already use a spreadsheet.

A spreadsheet adds up your hours. It won’t show that you’re 4 hours short on risk management, or that 40% of your hours aren’t licensee-approved yet. CPDfolio shows both as you log.

Doesn’t my licensee already track this?

They track it for their own obligations, and their copy covers your time there. You still have to produce your record when asked. When you leave, this is the copy that’s yours.

I’ve been audited before. It wasn’t that bad.

Then your record was probably in order. CPDfolio keeps it that way: every hour is logged with its certificate as you go, so there’s nothing to dig up later.

What happens if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted. Your account goes read-only: you can still see everything you logged and still export your audit pack. You just can’t add new activities until you start again.

Where do my certificates live?

In storage we control, reachable only through time-limited links. Nobody else sees your record unless you join a firm on CPDfolio and agree to it. If you leave, the firm keeps a dated snapshot of your time there and sees nothing after.

You’re new. Why should I trust you with this?

CPDfolio is new, so there are no customer logos yet. You can check the sample audit pack above, then use it for 14 days without a card. Your record stays readable and exportable even if you stop paying.

$79 a year, or $9 a month.

14-day trial, then $9 a month or $79 a year. No card needed to start. Cancel any time and your record stays, read-only and still exportable.
